Folded Postcards FAQs
Yes, you can request to view and approve the folded postcard design before it proceeds to production. After selecting “Upload Your File & Order Now” on the online calculator, choose “Wait - I want to receive and approve a free PDF proof” under the “Proofing Option” section. You'll be emailed a link to your PDF proof. We will only send the file to production once we have received your online approval.
We accept file submissions in the following formats: PDF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIF, TIFF, EPS, AI, and PUB. Other important file specifications to review before sending are:
- Set the file's color mode to CMYK.
- Make sure the design is applied according to the following print guidelines:
- Safe zone - Do not place important texts or images beyond this dotted area.
- Trim line - Indicates where we will cut to achieve the indicated size. Make sure to apply the background color or image up to this point.
- Bleed - Extend your artwork to the edge of this line. It is measured at 1/8”.
- All images and text should have a 300 dpi resolution.

The 10 Pt material will always ship folded. Since the materials offered there are either Matte or Gloss, this means there is a coating on it which will make it difficult to print on. If you want to print on the materials after purchase, it would be best to choose uncoated card stock. We recommend you check our Brochures page, and select the 14 pt uncoated so you can print on it. If you have time, you may wish to get 25 pieces first and check if it can be printed on properly.
We have a Tabbing option which you can use one or two circular paper disks to seal the folded postcard during mailing. The option may be selected in the Configure and Price section of the product page.
Yes, we can do this. However, you would need to process the order with our Mailing Department. Please give us a call and ask to be connected to a Mailing or Custom Representative to get a quote.
The Folded Postcards do not come with envelopes. If you need printing on these envelopes, please check the sizes we have for Envelope printing and order them separately. If you need blank envelopes, please call it in so they can be added to your order.

We can print anything for you. Just make sure to send us a print-ready file. Artwork needs to be set up on how you want us to print for you. Please see the file requirements below:
File Format: PDF, JPG, JPEG, PSD, PNG, TIF, TIFF, EPS, Illustrator, Publisher, DOCX, DOC, XLS, XLSX. PPT, PPTX, TXT, CSV
Maximum file size accepted online: 200 MB. If your file is larger than 200 MB, please contact Customer Service for assistance.
We require artworks to be in CMYK color space and have a minimum resolution of 300 dpi. A 0.125" bleed from each side of the artwork is required for most products. We will convert files submitted in RGB color space to CMYK before printing and minor color shifts may occur.
Your files will be reviewed for printing errors without paying a cent.
