Rack Card Printing: Design Eye-Catching and Informative Cards
Your customers need fast and direct information, which makes rack cards an exceptional marketing material displayed in high-traffic areas like hotel lobbies, waiting rooms, and retail stores. Our rack cards are printed on sturdy cardstock with compact design and vertical orientation, making them perfect for printing menus, promotional materials, and information cards.
Go-To Size and Paper Choices for Rack Cards
Looking for a sleek and effective format? This popular size and cardstock combo gives your rack cards a premium feel in a compact design that grabs attention.

Two Compact Sizes
Choose from 3.5" x 8.5" or 4" x 9", both designed to deliver clear, focused messaging. These sizes are perfect for brochure racks, countertops, and direct handouts, helping your content stay sharp and memorable.

14 pt. Cardstock - Most Popular Paper Type
This thick and durable cardstock offers a high-quality look and feel. Gloss finish brings out vibrant colors, Matte provides a smooth, glare-free appearance, and High Gloss UV adds extra shine and protection.
Additional Customization Options for Your Rack Cards
Add functional features and flexible options to make your rack cards work even harder for your business.

Perforation for Tear-Off Sections
Include a perforated section at the bottom of your rack card for easy tear-off. Use it as a coupon, business card, raffle ticket, or appointment reminder that customers can detach and take with them.
Front and Back Printing
Choose to print on one side for a simple, focused message or both sides to maximize space to share images, details, or contact information.
Writable Surfaces
For writing flexibility, choose Gloss Front with Uncoated Back if you're using 14 pt. cardstock. This gives you a shiny, eye-catching front and a writable back. If you need both sides to be writable, go with the fully Uncoated option, available in both 14 pt. and 17 pt. paper types.
Flexible Order Quantities
Order just what you need with quantities starting at 25 and going all the way up to 100,000. Perfect for both short runs and large-scale promotions.
Rack Card Printing FAQs
Rack cards are available in two size options: 3.5” x 8.5” and 4” x 9”.
We offer a range of cardstock options to match the look, feel, and function you need for your rack cards.
10 pt. Cardstock
This lightweight cardstock is stronger than regular paper. The Gloss finish makes colors brighter. The Matte version cuts down glare for easier reading. The High Gloss UV adds extra shine and protects against scratches.
14 pt. Cardstock
Thicker and sturdier than 10 pt., 14 pt. cardstock feels more premium. The Gloss finish makes colors pop. The Matte version gives a smooth, easy-to-read look. The High Gloss UV adds extra shine and protection. Choose Gloss Front, Uncoated Back for a shiny front and a writable back. The Uncoated version is fully writable on both sides.
16 pt. Cardstock
Our 16 pt. cardstock is extra thick for a premium feel. The Gloss finish makes colors look bold and bright. The Matte version creates a smooth, elegant look that's easy to read.
17 pt. Cardstock
The thickest option we offer, 17 pt. cardstock is tough and premium. The Uncoated surface makes it easy to write on with any pen or pencil.
Gloss and high gloss laminations are an excellent choice if you want colors to appear more vibrant, while cardstock options with a matte or uncoated finish are a good option if readability is your priority.
The thickest option is the 17 pt. cardstock uncoated.

Customer Questions
If you select a perforation, we will place it exactly in the area you need. You may indicate this with a broken line on your artwork. Being a perforation, it will come off with minimal effort but will show the regular jagged edge once they are torn off.
Yes, we may do die cut for custom shapes. However, these need to be processed by our Custom Team. To get a quote, please create an account online and add a Rack Card to your cart with the size closest to your custom shape. Then give us a call at 888.888.4211 to speak with a Custom Representative, who will convert the item in your cart to a quote for the custom shape.
We do have a Design Team that can do this for you. The base price for a design of a rack card is $35. However, this could increase depending on the complexity of the job. If you are interested, please create an account online and give us a call to speak to a Design Representative so he could provide you details of the design service and what you need to submit.
Unfortunately, our pricing is based on one design per quantity. The moment you have a different design on the back it would mean a new set up cost and we can only get cost efficiency over a printing run if the artwork (front and back) are the same.
We require a 1/8" bleed which you should extend outside the trim line.
Your files will be reviewed for printing errors without paying a cent.
