Use our spot UV options to add an extra shimmer on your foil business cards and further reinforce their premium look and feel.

Choose from two kinds of material to complete your design’s elegant look:

14 pt. cardstock is durable and best for anyone working with a practical, low-cost budget. 

16 pt. cardstock comes with a silk laminate on both sides that adds to its luxurious quality and makes the surface water- and tear-resistant.

Save time by using our free templates. Our templates have been setup with proper bleeds and margins, assuring your print job turns out accurate. To download, select a file type and click on the size below.

Guidelines for setting up your print file for foil printing.

  • If applying foil to text, use font size of 8 pt. or larger.
  • Strokes or borders must be more than 1.5 pt. thick.
  • Limit foil coverage to 50% of the surface area.
  • The foil mask should be a separate layer on your file (download our free file setup template for more information).

Guidelines for setting up your artwork for foil printing with spot uv.

High Gloss UV Coating is applied to selected areas. It draws attention and provides visual interest to your prints. If your artwork has both Spot UV and Foil, please leave a 1/16" gap in between. They cannot overlap.

“There is only one thing I didn’t like. That’s when 1,000 cards were sent there is no protection of the cards. They are only sitting in a box. With other print companies they separate them in different boxes within boxes.”

“First, I will say this is the company I regularly order my cards from because of the plethora of unique printing options. With that said, this product is great but their production process is slow and a bit frustrating. It takes between 2-3 weeks after paying to get the proofs correct, then another week for printing and shipping. In this last batch, the first shipment I was sent was incorrect, so it will be an additional 2 weeks to get those. Customer service was great and quick to remedy the issue, expediting the reprint and shipping. Great product just make sure you give yourself 4-6 weeks to get them.”

“The cards were cute but the gold foil was messed up on all of the cards. The lettering may have been too thin in places but I wish I’d have been warned that this would happen during the pre-printing process since I chose to have the design approved first.”

“Let me begin by saying the finished product is fantastic. I could not have imagined a finer business card. I am excited to hand them out!! The production process was lengthy and cumbersome. I started with a 3-week deadline that should have been more than enough time. Submitting artwork, proof development, proof approval, production, and shipping all seemed to take longer than advertised. In the end, the shipping date was delayed by a few days. Only after I threatened to pull the project did the management submit to overnight shipping (on uprinting's dime). I received the cards on the date of the original deadline.”

Can i get a 2 foil print on both sides of the card? In other words gold and silver foil with black on both sides.

This is possible but we would need to create seperate dies for each color and they need to be on different locations of the card. To have these colors on each side would likewise be additional cost and based on previous requests, an order of at least 500 or more would need to be printed to make it price effective. Sorry but where is the Template for the standard 3.5” x 2” Horizontal Business Card? All i see on the above templates are all vertical except for 1 template which not standard size?

We apologize as that has not been updated. However, the templates are guides and the instructions for the vertical cards may also be used for the horizontal one. You may also check the Standard Business Cards page and there is a Horizontal Template available when you scroll down to the bottom.
