1-color gummed tapes are tamper-proof. The tape’s material is reinforced with fiberglass, making it impossible to tear by hand. To cut it or open a package sealed with it, you’d need a sharp tool such as a knife or a pair of scissors. Due to its strength, you can seal boxes and packages with one piece of tape, making it a truly cost-effective solution for your packaging needs.  

Gummed tapes use a starch-based adhesive that only becomes sticky once moistened. Since this is water-activated, we recommend using a kraft tape dispenser with it. To apply, simply measure the length of tape you need and moisten the sticky side with water. The adhesive will bond with the box or packaging and form a strong, durable seal that’s also tamper-evident. Recommended for packages up to 30 lbs.
