How to Print Custom Stickers & Labels Online
Ordering your custom prints is straightforward.
- Select your format: Choose cut-to-size singles for handouts and orders under 250 pieces. Select roll labels (on a 3" diameter core compatible with most label guns) for fast application on orders over 250 pieces. Sheet labels are also available for versatile, multi-design applications.

STICKERS & LABELS FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
UPrinting lets you customize every detail, from the size and shape, material, coating, and lamination. Choose from four (4) durable materials for cut-to-size stickers or labels and nine (9) waterproof choices for the roll type. We offer over 20 sizes for each standard shape, including square, rectangle, and circle. Select “Custom” for roll stickers and labels if your preferred size isn't listed.
Once the order has been finalized, you may review a free PDF proof to ensure all details are accurate before printing.
The cut-to-size sticker or label is recommended for orders with quantities under 250 pieces. The roll is popular for quantities above 250. Each roll is 3” in diameter and fits in most label guns.
Vinyl material can protect your sticker or label design from outdoor exposure.
BOPP is recommended for bottled products or any container stored in a refrigerator. It is available in silver metallic, clear, white, and rainbow holographic colors.
The uncoated textured materials provide the classic look seen on wine bottle labels. These can last at least 4 hours submerged in an ice bucket but stay good as new when refrigerated.
The cut-to-size stickers and labels are available in 70 lb. labels. Add gloss, matte, or high-gloss UV laminate to protect the surface.
Yes, specific materials are writable. If you need to write expiration dates, flavors, or names, choose White Paper, 100% Recycled Kraft Paper, or our textured Estate papers (#4, #8, and #9). These can be written on with a permanent marker; simply allow sufficient drying time to prevent smudging.
To ensure maximum adhesion, always apply your labels to a clean, dry surface free of dust or oil. For longevity, select the right material for your environment. If your product will be exposed to moisture, oil, or refrigeration, avoid standard paper and select White, Clear, or Metallic BOPP. For outdoor exposure (like bumper stickers or safety signs), select High Gloss Outdoor White Vinyl or White Outdoor BOPP, which feature UV-coating for weather resistance.
Yes. We offer free, downloadable print templates for all of our standard shapes and sizes. These templates include predefined guidelines for the bleed line, cut line, and safe zone to ensure your artwork is formatted correctly before uploading.
Die-cut stickers are cut precisely to the exact shape of your design, cutting through both the sticker and the paper backing. Kiss-cut stickers are also cut to your custom shape, but the cut does not penetrate the paper backing, leaving an extra square or rectangular border around the sticker for easier peeling.
Clean and dry the application surface completely. Peel back only a small section of the paper backing to start. Align the exposed edge of the sticker to your surface, and press it down. Slowly pull the rest of the backing away while simultaneously smoothing the sticker down with a flat edge to push air outwards.
