What’s the Difference Between Bulk and Short-Run Booklets?
Whether you need a few booklets or a thousand, we provide options that cater to your volume requirements without compromising on quality.

Bulk Booklets
Best suited for large orders of 250 pieces and more, our bulk printing offers a cost-effective solution for extensive distribution.

Short-Run Booklets
Ideal for smaller, more targeted campaigns or when you require only a limited number of copies. Starts from 10 booklets up to 200.
Choosing the Best Material for Your Booklet

Enhancing your booklet’s appearance and durability starts with choosing the right materials for the cover and inside pages. For the cover, you have several options. Use 80 and 100 lb. paper gloss for short-term use and promotional materials. For professional presentations and high-end brochures, opt for 10 pt. cardstock. For more durable booklets like annual reports, 14 pt. cardstock is the perfect option. And if you desire top-notch, long-lasting booklets, look no further than 16 pt. cardstock. With the right materials, your booklet will truly stand out!
For the inside pages, 70 lb. paper uncoated works well for text-heavy booklets like manuals. Choose 80 lb. paper for image-heavy booklets to enhance colors. For a variety of finishes, use 100 lb. paper. For high-quality, durable pages in premium booklets, 10 pt. cardstock is ideal. Depending on your needs, you might prefer a matte finish for a sophisticated look or a gloss finish to make colors vibrant.

What the PDF Proof Does Not Accurately Show
- Exact color reproduction
- Subtle differences caused by paper type, ink absorption, and the printing process
To make sure that the booklet you're printing looks clean and professional, pay attention to the files setup, proofing, material, and final checks. Below is a practical, print-industry–aligned checklist you can use as a guide:
1. File Setup
- Ensure that the file size, bleed, and margins are correct.
- Add a 0.125" bleed on all sides to prevent white edges after trimming.
- Keep text and logos within the safe area to avoid cutting or binding issues.
- Match page size and count to the binding method.
Color Settings
- Set or convert the file to CMYK (not RGB) for print accuracy.
- Avoid overly bright colors that cannot be reproduced with ink.
- Expect slight variations due to paper and ink absorption.
2. Proofing
- Check the online PDF proof thoroughly.
- Check page order, pagination, text alignment, spacing, image resolution, bleeds, trims, and folds.
- Ensure fonts and elements are not missing.
- Check hard proofs closely. This is recommended for prints where color accuracy is critical.
- Check the order for brand colors that must follow an exact sequence. This is typically essential for photography, dark backgrounds, or high-volume/high-value projects.
- Please note that mock-ups are available at additional cost.
3. Material Selection
- Choose the appropriate paper stock for your booklets and the cover. A heavy cover stock adds durability to the booklet overall and prevents curling.
- Pick your choiceof coating/finishing.
- Gloss - Produces vibrant colors; ideal for catalogs.
- Matte - Creates a professional look, makes the material easy to read, and resists fingerprints.
- Binding Options
- Saddle-stitch - Simple, flat, best for short booklets.
- Perfect binding - Polished finish, allows for spine printing, and is suited for larger page counts.
- Wire-O - Lays flat, ideal for manuals and training books.
4. Design for Finishing
- Keep text away from trim and fold lines.
- Maintain consistent margins across all pages.
5. Final Checklist Before Approval
- Ensure that all texts are clear and free of typos. Please note that proofreading is not included in the printing service.
- Ensure that all iImages are sharp. We recommend at least 300 dpi for images and graphics.
- Check if the page numbers are correct.
- Ensure that there are no critical content near edges or spine.
- Manage expectations regarding the possibility that screen colors may differ from printed colors.
