The biggest asset of a label or sticker is it is designed to be permanently affixed to something by the end user. In other words, once they take it and stick it on something (like a car bumper for example) it will always be there. That makes stickers a great marketing tool because once they've been put in place, the customer will be looking at the sticker, and by extension your business information, for a long time.
Label and Sticker Design Tips

With the permanent nature of a label or sticker, you need to make sure that your item offers enough value or creates enough interest in the customer to entice him or her to affix it permanently to a surface. Concentrate on making your sticker interesting and colorful, but make sure that you still get your company information on there as well. Whether its a logo, address information or a company catchphrase, you need to be sure that your company is reference on the sticker. It doesn't do any good to give your customer a sticker which isn't designed to make him or her think of your company. You should also be aware that we do not recommend having borders on your labels as there is a considerable possibility that a border can be mistakenly cut through by our cutters.
Label and Sticker Print Specifications

Labels and Stickers are prepared with a crack and peel adhesive backing for easy removal from the sheet. In addition, you have the choice of whether you want them UV coated or not. UV coating makes the stickers more durable and water resistant. But even with this coating, the stickers are not waterproof, only water resistant. Print stickers and labels with UPrinting’s sticker printing services. Choose between sheet labels and roll labels, and change its size and paper types. For roll labels, you can change its material, shape, application, lamination and the unwind position.

Sheet labels can have standard sizes of 2”x3.5", 2x4", 3”x3", 3"x4", 3”x7", 4"x4", 4”x6" and 8.5"x11".The custom size can range from 2”x2.75" to 11”x17". The paper types available for sheet labels are the 70 lb. label, high gloss (UV), and 70 lb. label, matte. The advantage of the high gloss is that since it has a UV coating, it makes it fade resistant and water resistant, while the advantage of the 70 lb. paper, matte is that it is writable. You can print 250 to 100,000 sheet labels using our offset printers. The production turnaround for 70 lb. high gloss sheet labels is 4 to 6 business days, and for 70 lb. matte sheet labels, 2, 4 or 6 business days.

Roll labels can have many shape options including rectangle, square, circle and oval. The available materials for roll labels are White BOPP, Clear BOPP, White Vinyl and White Textured Estate #8. The laminations available are the Clear Gloss Indoor Laminate for White BOPP, Clear BOPP and White Vinyl, and the Matte lamination for the White Textured Estate #8. You can also set the unwind position, to be top, bottom, left or right of copy. You can print 250 to 50,000 roll labels and have a printing turnaround of 6 business days.

   Free Digital Proofs Before Paying

After designing, you can submit it to us and get a free digital proof. Your design will be examined by our prepress team for technical matters such as resolution and artwork dimensions. They will also make the adjustments needed for your stickers to be print-ready. We’ll submit a proof to you for approval.
