Digital Postcard Specs
Digital postcards can be printed in these standard sizes: 4 x 6", 4.25 x 6", 5 x 7", 5.5 x 8.5", 6 x 9", and 6 x 11". Custom sizes range from 4 x 4" to 11 x 6". For digital printing, the only available stock is 14 pt. Cardstock Gloss which is certified by Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC). Choose among these four color options: 4/4 (Full Color on Both Sides), 4/1 (Full Color on Front, Black Back), and 4/0 (Full Color on Front, Blank Back). Postcard printing turnaround will be 1 to 2 business days.
USPS Guidelines for Postcard Mailing
UPrinting provides United States Postal Service (USPS) Mailing Guidelines for you to effectively send out postcards to customers. We offer mailing list preparation and Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) certification. It is required to have a minimum size of 4.25 x 5.5 and a maximum size of 6 x 11”. Make sure that the aspect ratio of your custom sized postcards is between 1.3 and 2.5. The aspect ratio of an image is its width divided by its height. Free Project Review
UPrinting offers free project review to check and fix design files uploaded. We conduct file inspection to cover technical issues such as folding setup, bleed setup, image resolution, and USPS Mailing Guidelines. Once you get your proof, check the trim lines and safe zone lines. For rush projects, place a paid postcard order and request a proof.
