Since you are asking the customer to read more than just a simple postcard or flyer, it is imperative that you make the cover image and copy compelling enough to entice them to open the booklet. Moreover, since the whole point of a newsletter is to give your customers news and information about your product, you should use the space allowed by the nature of the format to impart enough information to allow your customer to feel that he or she is receiving value for their time spent reading your newsletter. In other words, put a lot of news in your newsletter.
