How to Prepare Your Metallic Sticker Artwork File
Custom printing metallic stickers is a great way to call attention to your brand. Here are some suggestions that will help you create eye-catching designs using any design software:
- Create two layers in your file: one for CMYK and another for the mask layer. The mask layer is where you will indicate the metallic accents in your design.
- Make sure that both layers align with one another. To ensure correct placement, you can download one of our print templates in your chosen file format.
- Use light colors on the metallic areas. Gradients and semi-tones may not show up in darker colors. Also, lighter colors tend to reflect more light and make the design more striking.
- Choose a sans serif font in 12 pt. or larger so that your brand name or message will stand out. Smaller font sizes may not be readable in the printed design.
