As a child, reading stories and being read to offered me some very special opportunities to use my imagination, better understand my emotions, bond with my parents, and create happy memories.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

Chiara lives and writes by the motto, \u201cLook at the world through the eyes of a child\u201d<\/em>. \n\n

\nKnowing firsthand how a good story can positively impact someone inspired her to use simple words and gentle illustrations so even the youngest readers can relate to the stories and characters. \n\n

I was displaying my books at a Christmas market last year. A festive crowd was filling the room, looking at all the local vendors & their wonderful creations, and this little girl named Eva stopped at my table and pointed at one of my books, \"Juliet Stork: Mission North Pole\"\n

\nShe asked me if she could read it. Of course, I said yes! She stood there, reading my book till the very end, oblivious to the holiday buzz around her.\n

\nWhen she finished reading, I asker her if she liked it and the most wonderful smile appeared on her face. She said, \"Yes, I really liked it a lot!\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>

For Chiara, that moment was everything \u2014 proof that her stories could quiet the noise and capture a child's attention and imagination completely.\n
