Top Rated Questions for JPEG
If I already submitted my JPEG file for the brochures that I want printed, do I still have an opportunity to be able to correct any mistakes? Joyce S. - July 30, 2009
Please request a free online proof or hardcopy proof. If you request a proof, you will be able to make changes to the files. Once all final changes are made, you may approve the proof, and then production will begin. If the proof has been approved, you will not be able to make any further changes. Answered by UPrinting.com Prepress Team
I'm afraid that there may be some alignment issues. When I was making my design, I wasn't able to confirm whether or not the alignment with edges of the brochure template would be line up to my edge. If there are any problems, will you be able to fix them for us? Russel D. - July 30, 2009
Yes, we can fix any alignment problems for you. We will make the necessary adjustments to your file to ensure that it will line up to our template. Answered by UPrinting.com Prepress Team
My JPEG file for the business card that I designed is 82MB. Is this file too big to upload to your website? Sergio J. - July 28, 2009
No, the file is not too big. We can accept files as large as 100MB. Answered by UPrinting.com Prepress Team
You guys need a bleed around our designs right? Can you put it in for us? If not, how do we add it? Hannah L. - July 28, 2009
We require a 1/8 of an inch bleed around the edges of your design. We will not be able to add it for you. You may extend your design 1/4 of an inch to the width and height to get the desired bleed around your edges. Answered by UPrinting.com Prepress Team
JPEG automatically set my business card design in RGB color format. Can I just send it in like this, or did I need to make changes? Rose R. - July 28, 2009
You will need to change the RGB (red, green, blue) color format into CMYK (cyan, magenta, yellow, and key [black]) color format. Answered by UPrinting.com Prepress Team
Your JPEG calendar templates will work for any program that runs JPEG right? Collin R - July 26, 2009
Correct. As long as the program is able to run and edit JPEG files, our templates are usable by any program. Answered by UPrinting.com Prepress Team
Was there a way to shrink the size of my JPEG file for the calendar design that I have? Rodolfo W. - July 26, 2009
The only way to make JPEG files smaller is to use Photoshop to resize the photo so the file size will be under the 100MB limit. If you trim the image or shrink the image, your file size can be smaller. Answered by UPrinting.com Prepress Team
I would like to make a PDF version of the JPEG file of my calendar template. What is the best PDF version for your company to work with? Noah S. - July 26, 2009

Which type of printing should I choose in order to print out good color gradients from my JPEG file of my catalog design? Rodolfo D. - July 23, 2009
Offset printing will do the better job of handling color gradients. However our digital printers are also capable of printing out color gradients. Answered by UPrinting.com Prepress Team
