Postcard Graphic Design

As an online printing company that has no doubt seen a lot of postcards, can we say there is one winning formula to achieving the best postcard graphic design for any purpose? Of course not. Of course, there are those rules of thumb that it would be a good idea to follow, like not cluttering up your postcard design with too much text or objects, keeping around 30-50% negative space in your designs, and making sure that the back of your postcards are setup correctly to prevent USPS problems. In terms of design style, personality and tone, though, we have yet to see a definable limit; we're often pretty amazed by the creativity our clients have when they send over their postcard design files for printing (you can check out some of them on our Facebook page), and we're pretty sure someone has yet to come up with yet another innovative postcard graphic design that'll just rock people's socks!
