Postcard Design Rules
To follow the standard postcard design color option, opt for 4/0 which means full color front with empty back panel. For to give it a different look, slightly veer away from traditional postcard design rules by modifying the color option to either 4/4 with full colored back and front or 4/1 with full color front with black-inked back.
Our pre-set sizes are 4” x 6”, 4.25” x 6”, 5” x 7”, 5.5” x 8.5”, 6” x 9” and 6” x 11”. However, sizes can be customized up to 8.5” x 11” at increments of 0.25”. Your postcard design must fit into these dimensions and you must make bleeds to make sure that there will be no white edges once the postcards are cut.
U-Printing has additional postcard design services made available through our U-Design tool to which is equipped with hundreds of pre-made templates and several size options. You can also create your own from scratch using our design tool.
