Know the minimum and maximum size allowed within standard and first-class mails of the United States Postal Service. This way, you can scale your postcard design properly, following these guidelines.
Since the minimum size for postcards is 3.5” x 5.5”, and the maximum is 4.25” x 6”. Keep your dimensions limited to this range, and hence, your design as well. Following these sizes can provide you savings for your postcard design mailing.
At U-Printing, we make postcards with custom sizes from 4” x 6” to 8.5” x 11” at increments of 0.25”. Pre-set sizes of 4” x 6”, 5” x 7”, 5.5” x 8.5”, 6” x 9” and 6” x 11”.
Also, the minimum quantity for Standard Mail is 200 pieces. To get discounted rates for First-Class Mail, you need at least 500 postcards. U-Printing accommodates postcard orders from 100 copies to as many as 100,000.
