Holding a party requires a lot of planning. You anticipate how the event would look like, what mood you want to create, and what theme or design you want to make. Part of planning an event is entertaining your guests. You don’t want them to sit down idly and die of boredom one by one right? You want to make them feel at home and you want your different group of friends to interact.
Here’s a simple yet effective way to give your friends and family a blast in whatever event you’re holding. Make them a game booklet.
Game booklets may contain the name of the occasion and the program flow on its first few pages. Include a few pictures detailing what is being celebrated, and finally, you can add ice-breaker games at the last few pages.
Of course don’t forget to offer incentives, like prizes, for every game winner. An example of a game you may try to include is the “Know Name Game.” You start it by drawing a BINGO card on a page and putting instructions on each window of the card. The instructions should somehow make the participants ask for the name of the person being described or the person that best fits the category in the party. For example:
- What is the name and age of the person wearing white?
- Who is the youngest person in the party?
- What is the name and birthday of the only chemist in the party?
Just be creative! The possibilities are infinite! You just need to really know the people you are inviting.
