Color press printing is a process that can produce small or large numbers of projects. It’s usually used for business or promotional printing needs. Most online printing companies nowadays use offset printing or digital printing.

Offset printing is a system that uses plates and cylinders to transfer the ink that would form the image on the paper. Once the printing process starts, the image or file that you wish to create is laser-etched on a cylinder plate. Then, the plate is placed in the offset printer wherein it moves the inked image on a blanket cylinder. The blanket cylinder transfers the printing onto the paper for the file to be made.

Digital printing is another process used for small or large format products. It requires only one printing machine to work the file, unlike in offset which has several printer towers. The printing process begins after the printer settings have been configured. The paper is fed into the machine then the inks or toners are distributed on it until the file is done.
