The West LA production facilities have just introduced a brand new Canon 7000 Digital Press to serve the growing needs of the short run printing market.
U-Printing purchased this new press and equipped it especially with an EFI front end, for the purpose of addressing customer's short-run and next day turnaround needs. This new system will handle projects of any amount between 25 and 500 prints and is capable of producing high-end color with a level that rivals offset printing. Due to this new system, short run projects can be delivered on-demand and with next day turnaround.
In addition, by having this new press fully integrated with our U-Page system, U-Printing can now give its customers an unmatched level of customization, allowing them to print any size up to 11x17", and simple ordering process. "Businesses no longer need to rely on Kinko's and other overpriced retail printing outlets," said David Sarabia, the Director of Marketing of the U-Printing Network. "Customers can select a product, submit their files and have their prints delivered the next business day, in just a few clicks."
Furthermore, U-Printing offers a full range of online proofing options including the ability to immediately preview uploads, see file setup warnings and request a Press-Ready Electronic Proof. Not only that but if a customer orders a hard copy proof, that proof will be exactly what the final product will look like. Upon approval of the proof the file is sent directly to the press through our EFI front end, minimizing delays and the possibility of human error.
