You can get people into your pizzeria with great advertising and by having a snazzy facade but once they're inside, you need to work on closing the deal with your food menu. This is where having a well-designed pizza menu comes into play.
Now there's more to a pizza restaurant's menu than just a listing of all the variations of Italy's gift to the world that you can serve. In fact, one might say, making a menu is an art. That said, you shouldn't be discouraged by memories of bad art class report cards because we're here to give you some suggestions on pizza menu printing and design.

- Photos

Okay, so you have new customers who are a little wary about trying unfamiliar things but their adventurous, foodie friends invited them to come to your pizzeria. Why not use your menu to regale them with your most sumptuous slices? A few well-placed and mouth-watering photos on your menu and you're bound to have them salivating over your creations.
- Descriptions

You might not be able to insert photos of every menu item but that doesn't mean you can't reel pizza fans in. Compose a few descriptions of your pies and tell your diners what they're getting when they order their pizza. A brief recounting of the ingredients will do but you can get creative.
No poetic license, however, so don't say there are multitudes of anchovy slices when there's just a generous handful. Exaggeration might bring more trouble than it's worth.
- Positioning

Now maybe the first two tips are a little bit more obvious than this one but when it comes to menus, how you position your items is also important. It's a good rule of thumb to put the premium items on the top and bottom of a listing so that they're the first and last things people see when they check out your menu.
Additionally, items like bestsellers, daily specials, or kids' menus can also be put in separate boxes so that your diners can easily notice them.
- Specials
- Design and Printing.

Of course, none of these tips we mentioned will work if your diners can't read the menu so first, make sure that your design software's color mode is set to CMYK. When you create your design feel free to play around with typography and images but the elements on the menu pages should be relevant to your brand and uncluttered.
Then you should send in your designs to a pizza menu printing expert who can deliver high-quality menus because bleary and runny printing won't help at all. Remember : every little thing counts towards making a pleasurable dining experience for your guest so even your menu has to look perfect.
- Lamination.

You might want to consider getting your table menus laminated since lots of people are going to be handling them and you want them to last for a long time. A laminated menu gets protection from cheesy fingers, is splatter-free and easy-to-clean.
- Delivery and Take-Out.

Finally, you might want to remind your customers (potential and regular) that they can have your delectable pies delivered or to go. You can do this by distributing durable take-out menus which are portable and therefore easy to carry around. Giving your customers a menu they can take home and stick on the refrigerator door assures you that later on, they might actually call you whenever they have the pangs for pizza.
