Paper Stocks for Brochures

Printing a design leaflet brochure requires quality stocks. Make use of our paper stocks and cardstocks to enhance the quality of your prints' design. Different stocks are used for offset printing and digital printing.

100 lb. Gloss Paper Stocks = Heavy weight paper stocks (with Aqueous coating for offset printing, and no additional coating for digital printing), 10 percent recycled and is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified.

10 pt. Gloss Cardstocks = Thick cardstocks (with Aqueous coating for offset printing, and no additional coating for digital printing), foldable, and is 10 percent recycled.

100 lb. Matte paper Stocks = Heavy weight paper stocks with Matte coating, foldable, and markable.

10 pt. Matte Cardstocks = Thick cardstocks with Matte coating, foldable, and markable.

Coating Options for Offset and Digital Stocks

Offset design leaflet brochures are additionally coated on both sides after the printing process. UPrinting offers Gloss Aqueous and Matte coating. Gloss coating leaves a glossy sheen and makes the prints water-resistant. Matte coating leaves a dull satin finish and makes the prints inkjet and laser friendly.

Digital prints are gloss coated at the mill. There is no additional coating applied during the printing process. Because there is a lack of additional coating in digital prints, 10 pt. cardstocks may produce a crack when folded. Scoring can minimize bu cannot eliminate the crack. Scoring is the method of creating a crease along the line where the print can be folded.

Water-based Aqueous (AQ) coating improves the bio-degradability of a design leaflet brochure. AQ coating with Gloss and Matte finish also improves print drying times.
